With over 20 years promoting a healthy and natural lifestyle free from artificial flavorings, the business has grown to four distinct outlets with close to 50 employees across varying shift arrangements. As the business expanded, Yes Natural recognised the need for a more efficient way to manage payroll, attendance, and HR processes across its diverse workforce.
Using spreadsheets and calculators are actually very time-consuming. Having a proper HR system makes a big difference — because of Info-Tech HRMS, a lot of the processes have been automated and organized, which I like it the most.
The Challenges

Yes Natural manages four distinct business units — a retail store, a bakery, a restaurant, and a wholesale operation — each running on different schedules, from regular office hours to shift work and part-time arrangements. With close to 50 employees spread across these units, tracking attendance and processing payroll manually placed a heavy burden on the team.
Attendance was recorded on physical clock cards, requiring staff to manually transfer data into spreadsheets each period. Calculating overtime was especially time-consuming, as each employee's schedule varied — a process that depended on spreadsheets and calculators and was prone to errors and delays.
As the business grew, preparing payslips became increasingly labour-intensive, making it difficult to ensure that all employees were paid correctly and on time. The volume of manual HR work made it clear that a dedicated system was needed to keep up with the pace of the business.

Yes Natural adopted Info-Tech HRMS, implementing the Attendance, Payroll, and Employee Records modules to address their most pressing HR challenges. The shift from paper-based clock cards to a mobile attendance app meant employees could clock in and out directly from their phones, with all timings automatically logged into the system — eliminating the need to manually transfer records to spreadsheets.
Payroll processing was significantly simplified, with overtime rates automatically calculated based on each employee's individual schedule. This removed the reliance on calculators and manual cross-referencing, ensuring payslips were generated accurately and delivered on time across all four shift arrangements.
With HR data centralised across all four business units, Yes Natural's management gained a clearer view of their workforce without the administrative overhead. Less time spent on repetitive manual work has allowed the team to focus on what matters most — running the business and supporting their people.
