- Understand Singapore’s Employment Act coverage and its relevance to HR, which includes key employment terms, and learning of differences in:
- Contract of Service & Contract for Service
- Law & Ethics in HR
- Workmen & non-Workmen
- Familiarise yourself with employment regulations and employer obligations related to leave entitlement and working hours, including:
- Hiring of part-time and foreign workers
- Hours of work, overtime, and rest days
- Annual leave, sick leave, and government-paid leave
- Gain insight in calculating salary components, and obligated employer contributions. This includes:
- Considerations for payment frequency and date
- Individual income tax
- Itemised pay slips
- Authorised salary deductions, including CPF, SDL, and Self-Help Group funds
- Understand the procedures for handling Termination, Resignation, Retrenchment, Absence without Leave, Retirement and Re-Employment.
- Acquire proficiency in essential software skills for operating HRMS software to increase the efficiency of HR tasks through practical, hands-on training.

Is there any requirement for passing the course?
Individuals must achieve at least 75% attendance to be eligible for the funding. For courses with an assessment component, they will also need to complete and pass the assessment. Full course fees are non-refundable regardless of the grade.
